Roger Lidell

Senior Advisor

Roger was Group CEO of LCH.Clearnet, one of the world’s most important financial infrastructure companies providing clearing services and being a central counterparty for financial institutions. Prior to this he worked at Citibank and Goldman Sachs where he was Global Head of Operations based in New York.

Roger began his career in mining as manager of a UK coal mine in Kent during the 1980s. He has served on a number of financial infrastructure and mining boards including Euroclear.
Roger studied mine engineering at Nottingham University.

Sarah Wilson

Sarah is CEO of Minerva Analytics Ltd., the UK’s first electronic proxy voting service founded in 1995. In addition to a full-service voting platform, Minerva’s services include objective data and research covering voting results, governance, remuneration and sustainability, customised voting policies as well as a number of proprietary ESG benchmarking solutions for up to 6,500 global companies.

Paul Staples

Paul is an experienced capital markets professional having worked, and consulted at the world’s largest investment banks such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, HSBC, Barclays Capital, Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.

He has over 19 years experience building strong teams, in sales, product development, corporate strategy,  and preparing business for operational readiness across FICC and Equities.

Paul has been a co-founder and COO on several businesses in a variety of sectors. He is an active angel investor and advisor to several start ups in Cyber Security, Big Data/Data Analytics, Fintech and Logistics.

Paul holds a BSc in Geography from Leeds University.

Nawaz Iman

Nawaz Imam

Nawaz is CEO of Issufy, an equity markets IPO platform, for investment banks and asset managers. Previously he worked at Citi where he held a variety of roles in equity sales, trading and strategy, including Head of Emerging Markets Equity Trading Strategy and also at JP Morgan Asset Management and Private Bank in Asia.

Nawaz has significant experience in corporate strategy, financing and investing.

Nawaz read Economics at the London School of Economics, and took an MBA from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Jon Shaw

Managing Partner

A proprietary bond trader at Barclays Capital before the crisis on the Illiquid Credit desk focused on hard to value debt securities. Setup and built out the Swiss Franc credit trading desk in Zurich for Barclays during the crisis. An expert witness for high level court cases in New York and London for Magic Circle and Silver Circle law firms.

He built a financial data business, SGDA from 2012-2016 gaining support from over 30 investment banks. Founded Shawpoint in 2017 based on experiences from SGDA to help other businesses and entrepreneurs in 2017.

Michael Kaladeen

Managing Director

Mike was at Morgan Stanley, London in the Financial Institutions Investment Banking team for nine years and latterly two years at leading financial institutions M&A specialist firm Fenchurch Advisory Partners.

He started his career at PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Banking and Capital Markets, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA).

Throughout his career, he focused on FinTech and all of its subsectors. He has extensive experience in M&A, equity capital raises, IPOs, valuation and strategic reviews.

He studied Engineering at Oxford University.

Rahul Kumar

Analyst

Rahul began his career in KPMG’s Transaction Services practice covering industrials, food and drink, energy, automotive, healthcare and the consumer and retail sectors, before transitioning to Corporate Finance with BDO.

Most recently he spent time executing M&A mandates on Media, Gaming and Data Information businesses with a boutique in London.
